N.B.A Draft Profiles: Kendall Marshall
- Updated: June 16, 2012
N.B.A Position: Point Guard
N.B.A Comparison: Mark Jackson/Andre Miller
The purest point guard in this year’s draft, maybe in the past 5 drafts, Kendall Marshall is the epitome of a floor general. His court vision is unmatched, his passes are rarely off target, he is an absolute extension of the coach on the floor, he has an elite basketball IQ, and an innate feel for the game. The problems scouts see with his game is that he doesn’t have the lateral agility to keep up defensively with most of the point guards in the N.B.A. He also lacks a consistent outside jump shot but, he is gradually improving and becoming a slight threat when defenses try to give him space.
