Jags Trade Eugene Monroe To The Ravens

The Jacksonville Jaguars have traded offensive tackle to Eugene Monroe to the Baltimore Ravens. The deal is pending a physical.

Monroe is 26 and was drafted in 2009 out of Virginia with the 9th overall pick. Monroe has played in 65 games and has started 62 of them. 16 of his career start were at left tackle all last season.

This will be a big boost for the Ravens as they have allowed 12 sacks through four games and have only rushed for 256 yards this season which is the 5th lowest in the NFL.

The Ravens have traded multiple third-day draft picks to the Jags for Monroe according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
