Ravens receiving calls for pick 17; 49ers in pursuit?

Ravens people

The Baltimore Ravens currently hold the 17th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but that could change soon. According to GM Ozzie Newsome the team has been receiving calls from teams interested trading up for their pick.

Ian Rapoport mentions not only could the Ravens move back, but the Harbaugh brothers may be involved if the 49ers are serious about trading up.

If the 49ers are interested in trading up, they’ll likely target wide receivers Marqise Lee or Brandin Cooks, and if they were able to land a guy like Cooks, it would be a major instant upgrade to their offense. For the Ravens, a team that has four picks in the top 100 selections, a trade back could add to that quantity.

Rumors like this will likely heat up with the draft just eight days away, but at least this one makes sense.
