Report: Experts rule Donald Sterling “mentally incapacitated”

Early Thursday evening it was reported that ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was awarded the winning bid to be the next owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. We then learned that the agreement between the Clippers and Ballmer had been signed, sealed, and delivered to the NBA.

Now, we may have more insight as to what sped up that process. According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles, experts have declared that former Clippers owner Donald Sterling was found to be mentally incapacitated.

The downward spiral of Donald Sterling continues to fall, and while action could be taken, it’s likely that NBA will move quickly to approve of the sale, and remove Donald Sterling’s name from the Los Angeles Clippers, for good.
