MLS Game Preview: Seattle Sounders FC VS FC Dallas

Saturday May 18, 2013 the Seattle Sounders FC will go head to head with FC Dallas live from Seattle, Washington.
This is a big match up for Seattle, as they will take on FC Dallas who leads the Western Conference division with 24 total points in 11 games. Dallas is 7-1-3 while Seattle is struggling a bit in the standings sitting 3-3-3 in 9 total games, with 12 points.
Sounders FC has began to get on a bit of a hot streak in their last five games they are undefeated. Most recently coming off an impressive 4-0 win over San Jose last weekend at home.
FC Dallas on the other hand is undefeated in their last nine games coming off a 2-1 victory over D.C. United. FC Dallas will look to make that a ten game win streak tomorrow, as they try to come away with a road win.
In nine meetings between these two teams Sounders FC has taken advantage of FC Dallas. Sounders FC has 4 wins while FC Dallas has only defeated Sounders FC once. However there has been 4 ties between the two teams as well.
Many have considered this game to be the game of the week. This is a must win for Sounders FC as they are three points behind Colorado, for the final playoff spot out West. FC Dallas is sitting comfortably in first place 6 points ahead, of the second place team which is the Portland Timbers.
Playoffs are set to begin in October, and should carry through December for the MSL Championship game. Only 5 teams make it in each Division.
