Brian Hoyer recruiting Julian Edelman to Browns

It seems like a three-team race for Edelman with the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, and the Browns. The Ravens are being reported as the likely destination for Steve Smith, which then would come down to the Patriots and Browns in a race for Edelman, with the Patriots putting a limit on the contract.
If the Browns can offer more than the Patriots, which they more than likely can, and Edelman goes for the money, the Patriots would then have to look elsewhere to address their wide receiver core.
In 2013 Edelman caught 105 passes, with 1,056 yards, and six touchdowns.
