Report: Dolphins sign Knowshon Moreno
- Updated: March 27, 2014
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins have reached an agreement on a one-year deal to sign former Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno. Miami’s running game now adds valuable experience and toughness.

Knowshon Moreno is coming off a career year where he rushed for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns. Ryan Tannehill now gets another running back to work with as Moreno will join Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas. The 27-year-old clearly benefited from working with Peyton Manning and being on the best offense in the history of football, but he can get a chance to “steal the show” in South Beach.
New Dolphins Offensive Coordinator Bill Lazor, who worked under Chip Kelly in Philadelphia last season, clearly wanted Moreno and has big plans for him in this revamped offense. Good deal for both sides, as Miami gets a solid runner and Moreno can “break the bank” if he has another season like he did in 2013.
