NHL FREE AGENCY-Calgary Flames Add Two Small Pieces that they Might be Looking for

After losing their franchise player for many years, Jarome Iginla, the Calgary Flames look to move on and rebuild. A big plus was picking up TJ Galiardi from the San Jose Sharks on a one year deal worth $1.25 million. The next move was signing defensemen Kris Russell who turned down a one year deal with St. Louis, he played a very small role with the Blues, but maybe he earns some ice time in Calgary. Brian McGrattan re-signed for two years at $1.5 million a year, and is always willing to drop the gloves if he needs to. Calgary receives a C.
