Andrew Wiggins Wants To Follow In Anthony Bennett’s Footsteps By Going #1 (Video)
- Updated: November 1, 2013
You’ve heard of Andrew Wiggins by now, so I won’t bore you with the same ‘ole cliche sayings.
In a recent interview with Jay Bilas, Wiggins revealed his team goal and personal goal. As you could expect, the team goal was to bring another National Championship to Lawrence, but the personal one caught me a little off guard.
Normally a player wouldn’t come out and say going #1 in the draft is their personal goal, but Wiggins went on and said it anyway.
If Wiggins were to go number one, it would mark back-to-back years a Canadian has went number one. Anthony Bennett is the reigning top selection and Wiggins wants to follow in his footsteps.
Kansas fans better cherish every Wiggins moment they can.
