LaMarcus Aldridge out next two games for Blazers
- Updated: March 13, 2014
The Portland Trail Blazers avoided some pretty bad news on Thursday when it was announced that All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge will miss the next two games with a back contusion.
Blazers say LaMarcus Aldridge (back contusion) is expected to miss games vs. Pelicans and Warriors before being reevaluated

Aldridge took a pretty nasty fall on Wednesday in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs, and losses have been far too common with the Blazers recently. Portland has lost 9 of their lass 11 games and suffered another loss on their roster when it was announced that Mo Williams would be out for two weeks.
For now, Aldridge is only out two games meaning that Thomas Robinson will likely be called upon to fill his role, and more can be expected out of Dorell Wright as well.
