Richard Sherman and Cam Newton are the Madden 15 Cover Finalists
- Updated: May 30, 2014
One talks a lot, one shows his cape a lot. Through the ESPN Fan Cover Vote, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton are the two finalists to be on the cover of EA Sports’ Madden NFL 15.
To get there, Newton beat out Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown (80% of the votes) in Round 1, Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles (58% of the votes) in Round 2, and Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (56% of the votes) in Round 3.
Meanwhile Sherman, who nobody is supposed to talk about, beat out Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (73% of the votes) in Round 1, Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (65% of the votes) in Round 2, and 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (65% of the votes) in Round 3.
The first official trailer for Madden 15 featured Newton’s teammate Luke Kuechly, so it only makes sense to keep it Carolina.
Fan voting takes place today, May 30, through June 6, and fans can follow this link to vote for either player.
P.S. I voted for Cam Newton (you should too).
