Tom Brady Eludes Scary Knee Injury At Practice (Video)

Time stood still for a few moments during a Patriots scrimmage against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday (at least for Patriots fans). It occurred when Patriots QB Tom Brady was rolled up on by OL Nate Solder during a pass rush, sending his large body falling down onto the side of Brady’s left knee. The video is scary to watch for anyone, and you can hear fans sighing, “Oh no” as Brady rolls on the ground…

The good news: Brady received an MRI and there was no structural damage, according to a person with knowledge of the results. As of now, it is reported as a mild strain and Brady is day-to-day.

This is not Brady’s first brush with a knee injury. In the Patriots’ 2008 season opener, he tore his left ACL after being sacked by (then) Chiefs Safety Bernard Pollard, and would miss the rest of the season.
