Jamil’s NFL Week 4 Power Rankings

We have made it through another unpredictable week in the NFL this season. With week three in the history books, they’re now seven total un-beaten teams, and six teams still looking to get their first win of the 2013 season. Let’s check out what teams going into week four, stand at the top and bottom of the power rankings:

1. Seattle Seahawks (3-0) - Week-by-week this team is showing just why people had them as the Super Bowl favorites during the off-season.

2. Denver Broncos (3-0) - Peyton Manning is off to a killer start these first three weeks (1,143 yards, 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions) and don’t expect him to slow down anytime soon.

3. New Orleans Saints (3-0) - Saints offense is already a dominant force, now their defense is showing they can be a force in the NFL as well.

4. Chicago Bears (3-0) -  If the defense continue their play and Jay Cutler can continue to improve, like I said before, they’ll be in the playoffs for sure.

5. Miami Dolphins (3-0) -  Last two weeks Dolphins have shown they can compete with top teams in the NFL. Now with the Saints this week on Monday Night, they will have to continue to show what they are worth.

6. New England Patriots (3-0) - Brady is getting the job done for the Patriots as usually. Hopefully some of his targets can get healthy and return to the field soon.

7.  Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) - With the team the Bengals have, look for them these next couple weeks to be playing their best ball.

8. Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) - Andy Reid has already improved this team last season record. This could be a double-digit win team for sure.

9. Indianapolis Colts (2-1) - Getting a win against the 49ers is impressive enough. Getting running back Trent Richardson to go along with Andrew Luck is gonna be just lethal in the future.

10. Baltimore Ravens (2-1) - Ravens are trying to prove their still a playoff team by defeating the Texans 30-9 this past week.

11. San Francisco 49ers (1-2) - Since after week one, the 49ers have been out scored 10-56. 49ers must bounce-back Thursday night against the Rams.

12. Houston Texans (2-1) - Next two games are against the Seahawks and the 49ers. The Texans won’t be an easy out. But let’s hope Matt Schaub can give his team a chance to win.

13. Atlanta Falcons (1-2) - Two early loses in the season is digging the Falcons a hole to climb out of. Matt Ryan and the dirty birds need to get things going quick, fast and in a hurry.

14. Green Bay Packers (1-2) -  Going into their bye week 1-2 allows the Pack to get things together early.

15. Dallas Cowboys (2-1) - With an early lead in the NFC East, all the Cowboys must do is continue to have success with being balance on offense.

16. Tennessee Titans (2-1) - Not only has the Titans been competing, they’ve been winning.

17. New York Jets (2-1) - Is Geno Smith the answer at Quarterback ? This team is one game-winning drive from being 3-0.

18. Detroit Lions (2-1) - Nice start to the season and it will be a great divisional match-up with the Chicago Bears this week.

19. Carolina Panthers (1-2) - Carolina offense looked as good as they could get, and their defense didn’t do so bad either, only giving up ZERO points in week three.

20. San Diego Chargers (1-2) - Phillip Rivers is playing better than most expected, they just have to find a way to finish games.

21. Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) - Let’s just hope Michael Vick had a bad game and he is not going back to the Mike Vick in the past.

22. St. Louis Rams (1-2) -  Rams have to get rookie Tavon Austin the ball as much as possible. He was the only receiver that could make anything happen for Bradford last week.

23. Buffalo Bills (1-2) - They may not be winning now, however this team is young and built for the future.

24. Arizona Cardinals (1-2) - A lost to the Saints is expected. Now this week they should be able to rebound against Tampa.

25.  Cleveland Browns (1-2) -  No Trent Richardson no problem. The Browns did a good job finding a way to get a win this past week on the road.

26. Washington Redskins (0-3) - Redskins should be more worried about the defense then Robert Griffin right now. RG3 will find his way, I don’t see that being the case for the defense

27. Minnesota Vikings (0-3) -  Not only is quarterback a concern, but so is the defense and coaching staff.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-3) -  It’s a mess in the Steel City right now and it doesn’t look like no one is ready to start cleaning it up.

29. Oakland Raiders (1-2) -  Terrelle Pryor and the defensive secondary isn’t the issue in Oakland, everything else is.

30. New York Giants (0-3) -  Not only Eli but the entire Giants team can’t get anything going. It’s gonna be a long season if they keep this up.

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3) -  On paper this should be a playoff team. With Mike Glennon the starter and Josh Freeman on the bench, let’s see if things change in Tampa.

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-3) - It’s clear as day the Jaguars are trying to land the first overall pick in the 2014 draft.
